Ase (ah-shay): The Saturday Academy is an academic and cultural enrichment program in Philadelphia which works with secondary students on Saturdays during the school year. The Ase curriculum is diverse and intensive, concentrating on analytical skills, reading comprehension, public speaking, writing, personal and social responsibility, and academic excellence. Courses include areas such as African cultures, Technology, Community Development, Career Preparation, Mathematics, Literature, Arts, and much more.
